§ 3 NetPorta 1.8.4 · October 2026
NetPorta 1.8.4 · October 2026
New
- Automatic map layout: switches are arranged by how they are connected, each with its devices. Lines are shorter and do not cross other elements.
- Map of a single switch: shows the selected switch and everything plugged into it.
- Change the category of several devices at once.
- Magnifier: on a zoomed-out map, an enlarged element appears when the mouse stops.
Changed
- A switch stack can be shown as one block or as individual members connected by a line. Aggregation across several stack members appears as one bundle.
- Map export to PDF in high resolution; in a PDF viewer you can zoom in to the details.
- The full map, the map without cards and the simplified map each have their own layout.
- The simplified map shows a computer connected through an IP phone as a phone with the computer behind it.
Fixed
- The message “Not answering SNMP” also points to the list of allowed addresses (ACL) on the device.
